Crikey, here we are: the last savourites of 2023. This will be my final post from savour for the year. It’s been quite a big one, to put it lightly: a baby, a new book, a new column, a month away, a week in hospital, a whole new kind of existence to navigate.
savour was created as a place for notes on the delicious things in life; the delicious things have changed, but you’re still reading the notes - in your thousands. It’s a fact I struggle to grapple with, but am deeply grateful for.
I’ll be back in the new year, with a brand new project I can’t wait to tell you about but I think you’ll be excited by. But until then: some of the letters you’ve loved the most. Thank you for sharing your support and enthusiasm with me, for the little insights into your own lives, for keeping me going. I know it’s been a bit bumpy at times.
Wishing you a joyful, restful and delicious break - or at least one of the above. I’ll see you in 2024.
And now, one more time, for other good things this year:
