Traditionally, I’m one of those people who has their Christmas shopping tidied up by October. These days, I’m not - instead, I’m someone who thinks about petitioning their family to once again consider a present amnesty this year. Gosh, we’ve all got so much stuff. I get quite overwhelmed by it all. Nevertheless, somehow the “gifting” (a word I have inexplicable hatred over) persists, and we all flail around not knowing what to buy, and then have to find places for it.
These two factors - frenzied organisation and feverish overwhelm - have informed this present list, which is exactly why you should read it. I promise you, these are things people will value and appreciate and thank you for, even those who have everything.
A timely reminder here that if you feel like giving a savour subscription to someone this year, that is absolutely a thing you can do - and I’d be delighted to send a handwritten savour card for the recipient before Christmas if so. Just head to savour.com/gift to tick another one (or two, or three) off your list - and save 15% in the process.
