Stuck for Christmas present inspiration this year? I’ve got a list for that. And you can always give a Savour membership, too.

Well hello, Monday inboxes! An unconventional savour dispatch but a necessary one: on Wednesday at noon, the woman who taught me what my body was,

Erin Taylor
, and I will be giving our first-ever online
Balance Practice
x Savour Session. Twenty minutes of yoga so restorative that Erin promises me we probably won’t get much beyond lying down, and a calm and reflective creative writing mini-workshop from me to invite you to pause before the chaos and pressure of Christmas and New Year to come. I’ve spent this morning putting the finishing touches to it, and I’m excited to say that doing this online means I can share never-heard recordings from the interviews that informed Why Women Grow in this session. It’s all entirely free for subscribers.

Over the past year we’ve run these sessions at Chelsea Physic Garden to mark the seasons, but they’ve always filled up within hours and we wanted to make them more accessible. So you can tune in from home, and if it’s not a good time for you, we’ll send the recording out afterwards so you can do it whenever you feel like it.

All you need is somewhere comfortable, a yoga mat if you have one, cushions and blankets if you fancy, and something to write with and on. Forty little minutes to give yourself some grace and space.

If you’d like to join live, we’ll be beginning at 12pm GMT this coming Wednesday, 18 December. The link is below. If you’d like to join later, we’ll send the recording out to subscribers on Wednesday afternoon.
